Linear response theory for odd nuclei in S-D shell
Description
Ground state wavefunction of an odd-A nucleus is obtained from the Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov ground state of the (A-1) even-even nucleus by solving linearized variational equations obtained from a Thoules-type trial wavefunction. This method has been applied to a few odd-A nuclei in the lower half of s-d shell. (author)
