Specific feautures of the primary coolant circuit pipeline mounting at the Khmelnitskij NPP first power unit

Description
Technology of primary coolant circuit pipeline (PCCP) mounting using large units, which permitted to decrease considerably labour input and the period of carrying out of this process, is presented. Works on mounting, welding thermal treatment and PCCP joint control were carried out during 90 days. PCCP were mounted with high quality without additional operational development. PCCP mounting using large units permitted to decrease labour expenditure for this operation by 4000 man/day
