Indirect measurement of environmental terrestrial gamma radiation level
Creators
Description
A method for indirectly measuring terrestrial γ exposure rate from environmental natural radionuclides in soil samples and its results are described. Comparing the results from indirect measurement with direct measurement by scintillation-dose meter, 83.7% of 514 sample are in agreement each other within 30% deviation. Polybasic regression model is applied to fit direct measure results. The results of terrestrical γ exposuse rate calculated using fit coefficients are in agreement with calculated values by Beck's coefficients
