Optimal flow structure in a gas centrifuge for uranium isotope separation

  • 1. Moskovskij Inzhenerno-Fizicheskij Inst., Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The type of optimal function for the fluid flow in a gas centrifuge and maximum value for one of the efficiency components namely the flow utilization coefficient, are found. The flow and distribution of the flow utilization coefficient by the rotor height for thermal and external methods of the circulation excitation and their mutual action are calculated by the numerical methods. It is shown that the external excitation method contributes basically to the centrifuge efficiency
