High-energy cosmic ray detection by means of observation of radio signal reflected from ionosphere

Description

New technique of detection of superhigh-energy (> 1022 eV) cosmic rays (CR) by means of observation of the radio signal reflected from ionosphere is proposed. The possibility of such CR detection at Antarctica surface is determined by the large area of the continent and the low level of atmospheric noises in this region. Furthermore, the most part of the ice surface is placed at a height of 3-4 km and the effective band of radio impulse frequency spectrum (0-7 MHz) does not exceed values of maximum applied frequencies
