Simultaneous coulometric determination of rhenium and molybdenum in alloys
Description
The effect has been studied of molybdenum (6), tungsten (6), iron (3), chromium (3), nickel (2), cobalt (2), vanadium (4) and niobium (5) upon the results of the coulombmetric determination of rhenium (7) by titration with the aid of an electrically generated chromium (2). Under the investigated conditions, rhenium may be determined with a safisfactory reproducibility in the presence of considerable quantities of foreign elements. A method has been developed for a coulombmetric determination of rhenium and molybdenum in some alloys
