Description
Virtual bronchoscopic images of tracheobronchial phantom were obtained from helical CT data using perspective volume rendering method. As the results, thin collimation (1-2 mm) was necessary to visualize the subsegmental bronchi. It is suggested that the choice of collimation (1-2 mm for subsegmental bronchi, 5 mm for wide bronchial tree) is necessary for practical diagnosis. (author)
