Results of research of 116Cd 2β-decay with 116CdWO4 crystal scintillator

Description
The 2β-decay experiment (about 30000 h) with crystal scintillators 116CdWO4, enriched in 116Cd to 83%, has been performed at the Solotvina Underground Laboratory. A lower limit T1/2=2.9x1022 yr (90% CL) has been set for neutrinoless 2β-decay of 116Cd which restricts the Majorana neutrino mass and possible right-handed admixtures to the weak interaction. For 2ν2β-decay of 116Cd the limT1/2>1.8x1019 yr (99% CL) has been obtained. 34 refs.; 5 figs.; 4 tabs
