Generallized hartree-fock potential for finite nuclei on the basis of realistic nucleon-nucleon forces
- 1. Voronezh State Univ. (Russian Federation)
Description
Analytic expressions for the generalized Hartree-Fock potential (GHFP) in finite spherical nuclei are obtained in the second-order approximation in the nucleon momentum. Various components of pair NN potentials are taken into account in these expressions. It is shown that the Schroedinger equation describing the motion of a nucleon in the GHFP is asymmetric relative to the radius vector of the nucleon in view of the emergence of two different (although close) effective masses. In the approximation of equal effective masses, the Schroedinger equation has a Hermitian form and can contain an effective potential that depends on energy explicitly. It is shown that this potential differs substantially from theoretical Skyrme potentials, as well as from the phenomenological potentials of the optical model. This difference is associated with the presence of gradient terms and with more complex energy and isotopic dependences. 5 refs
