Electron scattering by polar molecules
Description
The emphasis of this report is on differential scattering experiments with the crossed beam method on molecules possessing dipole moments in the vicinity of the critical dipole moment. The collision processes of slow electrons with polar molecules differ significantly in characteristics from those of nonpolar molecules. Threshold resonances in vibrational excitation of polar molecules are also discussed
