Radiative capture of protons by 69Ga nuclei
- 1. Kharkov State University, Kharkov (Ukraine)
Description
The partial cross sections for the reaction 69Ga(p,γi) are measured for proton energies from 1.8 to 3.3 MeV. The results are compared with the cross sections calculated in statistical theory. The experimental data on the partial cross sections are used to determine the partial radiative strength functions of the 70Ge nucleus. The resulting values are compared with theoretical predictions based on a new statistical approximation that takes into account the temperature and shell structure of the nucleus in calculating radiative strength functions. Good agreement between the experiment and theory is obtained without varying parameters
