Description

One of the aims of the present experiment is to investigate the amount of thermal energy that particles such as protons and 3He ions are able to deposit into a target nucleus, the second aim being a detailed study of the decay properties of the thus heated nuclei. The results of the experiments are presented. (K.A.)
