Description

The floor and flange are inserted in the container body. The metal jacket rolled to the final dimension, which is provided with an axial slot, is positioned by pressing the slot together between the floor and the flange, and is then stress-relieved. The jacket is welded to the floor and the flange. The slot is covered by a suitable metal strip and this is welded to the jacket. (orig./HP)

Abstract (German)

Boden und Flansch werden in den Behaeltergrundkoerper eingelegt. Der auf Endmass gewalzte metallene Mantel, der mit einem axialen Schlitz versehen ist, wird durch Zusammendruecken des Schlitzes zwischen Boden und Flansch positioniert und anschliessend wieder entspannt. Der Mantel wird mit dem Boden und dem Flansch verschweisst. Der Schlitz wird durch einen geeigneten Blechstreifen abgedeckt und dieser mit dem Mantel verschweisst. (orig./HP)
