Description

In WA98 at CERN SPS the multiplicities of charged particle and photons in each event of Pb + Pb collisions at 158 A GeV by Silicon Pad Multiplicity Detector (SPMD) and Photon Multiplicity Detector (PMD) respectively were measured. A preliminary inclusive study of Ri,1 vs i correlations have been performed for simulation and data (Fig. 1). The simulation shows the effectiveness and limit of the inclusive study in DCC search. The data, however, does not indicate an Ri,1 vs i correlation. This implies that inclusively there is no charged to neutra correlation in the data
