Incomplete color confinement and characteristics of events with free quarks in the reaction e+e-→b bar b
Description
The process of bremsstrahlung hadronic accompaniment of free b-quark creation in e+e- annihilation is studied. The distributions of decay leptons and free light quarks from weak decays of the b quark are computed at the Zo peak. It is shown that some features of events with free quarks should differ from those of ordinary events. The comparison with the ALEPH experimental data leads to the conclusion that the existing experimental accuracy does not exclude the creation of free b-quarks in Zo decays. 16 refs., 6 figs
