Description
The hydrothermal processes (processes in aqueous phase at high pressure and temperature) have demonstrated a great potential for the treatment of wastewaters with high organic concentration. Among them, supercritical water gasification SWGAS) is presented as a possible way of use energy from wet biomass through its transformation into a fuel gas that should have great heating power due to its high content in hydrogen and light hydrocarbons. This paper reviews the main conclusions show by different authors on the study of the gasification process under those conditions
