Effect of SHF-treatment on physical and technological parameters of niobium-rare earth ores

Description

The results of investigations carried out to study the feasibility of SHF technologies development for treating finely dispersed niobium-rare earth ores of Tomtorsk deposit are presented. Tests are carried out to determine the effect of SHF treatment on granulometric characteristics of the ore and on flotation of niobium minerals. The influence of SHF heating on the ore leaching at Tomtorsk deposit was considered. A thorough dephosphorization of the ore during its sintering with sodium compounds in SHF field has been attained. 12 refs., 2 figs
