On destruction of high-strength steel at cyclic elastic-plastic deformation
Description
The failure of the martensite structure 33Kh3SNMVFA steel plates in short-time fatigue has been studied by electron microscopy. At 0.625% deformation the failure with appreciable plastic deformation with scyphoid structure took place. The increase in the cyclic deformation amplitude resulted in the increased of brittle failure, while the viscosity and plasticity of the material decrease
