Investigation of conditions of berkelium reductive reextraction in HDEHP-HNO3-N2H4HNO3 system
Description
The completeness of berkelium reextraction was studied depending on the water phase/organic phase contact time, nitric acid concentration and hydrazine-nitrate concentration in the reextracting solution. A smaller, compared to hydrogen peroxide, coordinating effect of hydrazine-nitrate on the stainless steel equipment. The following optimal conditions of berkelium reextraction from 0.2 mole/l D2EGEK in n.-decane were determined: Csub(HNOsub(3))>=4 mole/l; Csub(Nsub(2)Hsub(4)xHNOsub(3))=0.05-0.10 mole/l; the phase contact time was 3 min. and more
