Wide-band absorption in leucosapphire irradiated by neutrons
Description
Changes in absorption spectra of leucosapphire crystals irradiated by fast neutrons after the action of Hg-lamp radiation, annealing at various temperatures and γ-radiation are studied. In all the investigated crystals the γ-radiation causes the appearance of wide-band absorption with maxima about 225 and 400 nm
