Interchangeability of Fuel Cladding of Nuclear Reactors

Description
The conditions of a surface is the important parameter influencing operational durability of fuel cladding. The patent and literary analysis gives the basis to draw a conclusion, that techniques of an estimation of a surface working now do not provide an authentic estimation of condition of surface. Measurements of structures of cross sections of the zircaloy tubes have revealed the presence of components which can become the reasons of formation of the accelerated corrosion and the centers of creep. Amplitude-frequency characteristics of deviations of surfaces were determined which elimination can provide increase of interchangeability of tubes
