Ages of globular clusters in the Magellanic clouds
Description
By comparing observed luminosities of the asymptotic giant branch (AGB) star in the globular clusters of Magellanic Clouds with the theoretical ones the ages of 12 clusters in the SMc and 22 clusters in the LMc are obtained. The using of the theoretical calculations of star evolution with large mass loss on the AGB stage leads to the good agreement with ages determined from the colour-luminosity diagram. The results obtained evidences that the origin of clusters is different in LMC and SMC
