NIST Standards for Photon and Electron Radiation Dosimetry
Description
The Radiation Interactions and Dosimetry Group of the Ionizing Radiation Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) maintains the U.S. national standards for photon and electron ionizing radiation measurements. These standards and their associated reference radiation fields are discussed in this paper. In addition, NIST services for instrument and source calibrations are described, along with other research activities in the group
