Description
The wire scanning detector is mainly used to measure the position and size of the X-ray beam at the synchrotron radiation beamline. The paper briefly describes structure of the wire scanning detector and pays attention for the wire selection of the detector, and good design can achieve the measurement accuracy of 10 μm. Furthermore, the data processing method of scanning waveform has a certain influence on the measurement results. In addition, also further applications of the wire scanning detector are introduced, and the cases employed in the beam line of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) are described, and this kind of detector meet all design requirements of each beam line. Finally, further plan is put forward to carry out the detector research in the content and its effect. (authors)
