Kinetics of technetium reactions

Description
In perchloric acid solution technetium(7) is reduced by tetravalent uranium to technetium(6). Rate constant of the reaction equals 6.75±0.14 min-1 at 25 deg C and ion strength of solution μ=2. Activation energy of the reaction constitutes 99.3±5.4 kJ/mol, activation entropy - 65±20 J/mol. The mechanism of the reaction is similar to the one in hydrochloric acid medium
