Screening of shower particle tracks in track detectors
Description
The results of the calculations of particle track screening coefficient in electromagnetic cascade during processing the optical information from track detectors by the Monte Carlo method are presented. It is shown that at high energies the corrections for the number of particles in the cascade curve may reach more than 100%. The conclusion is made that the calculational results are in good agreement with experimental data obtained by a spark spectrometer at primary electron energies of 0.5-4 GeV
