The physical and mechanical properties of polyethyleneterephtalate film irradiated by uranium fission fragments were revealed to be changed. The analysis of the thermal and the mechanical curves of the investigated specimens enabled to make a conclusion about the anisotropic effect of heavy ions demonstrating the occurrence and the propagation of microshock waves when passing through a polymer

Установлено, что при облучении полиэтилентерефталатной пленки осколками деления урана происходит изменение ее физико-механических свойств. Анализ термомеханических кривых исследуемых образцов позволил сделать вывод об анизотропном характере действия тяжелых ионов, свидетельствующем о возникновении и распространении микроударных волн при прохождении через полимер
