Uranium and thorium distribution in the rocks of the Teterevskaya series of the Ukrainian shield
Description
The working substance for a lithium hydride thermoluminescence dosimeter is described. To increase an intensity of thermoluminescence peaks and the registration efficiency of X-ray emission, as activator has been used cerium. The working substance on the basis of Ce-activated lithium hydride has high sensitivity towards X-ray emission, and small sensitivity towards γ-emission. Thus, this substance can be used in X-ray, luminescent and thermoluminescent dosimetry
