Description
The effective thermal conductivity of superfluid 4He was measured in the temperature range between 0.48 and 0.67 K using a tube 8 cm in diameter, which is sufficiently wide to neglect the influence of phonon scattering on the wall. The data are compared with the calculations and experimental results of previous authors. The results obtained are useful for the analysis of thermal resistance in ultracold neutron production equipment. (Author)
