Description
The recent experiments on (K-,π-) reactions in 16O and 12C are analyzed, with special attention paid to the Λ-nuclear spin-orbit coupling aNd the exchange-mixture of the ΛN effective interaction. The potentiality of (K-,π-γ) reactions for the establishment of the low-lying hypernuclear spectrum in light elements is demonstrated, with specific proposals made to unravel the spin-dependence of the ΛN effective interaction
