Description

With the ultimate goal of determining the nuclear equation of state, we discuss the use of relativistic nuclear fluid dynamics for the description of high-energy heavy-ion collisions. This includes, in addition to conventional fluid dynamics, a two-fluid-dynamics model that is designed to take into account the partial interpenetration of the target and projectile upon impact. Both models reproduce the gross features of the experimental double differential cross section d2sigma/dEdΩ for outgoing charged particles from reactions such as 20Ne + 238U at a laboratory bombarding energy per nucleon of 250 MeV, but at a laboratory angle of 30o the calculated results are only about one-third the experimental values. Abstract (German)

Mit dem Fernziel, eine Zustandsgleichung fuer Kerne erstellen zu koennen, diskutieren wir die Anwendung der relativistischen Kern-Fluessigkeitsdynamik bei der Beschreibung von hochenergetischen Schwerionenstoessen. Zusaetzlich zur konventionellen Fluessigkeitsdynamik schliesst dies ein Modell einer Zwei-Fluessigkeiten-Dynamik ein, welches dazu dienen soll, die teilweise Durchdringung des Targets und des Projektils beim Stoss zu beruecksichtigen. Beide Modelle reproduzieren in groben Zuegen den experimentellen doppelt-differentiellen Wirkungsquerschnitt d2sigma/dEdΩ fuer geladene Teilchen, welche aus Reaktionen wie 20Ne + 238U bei einer Laboreinschussenergie von 250 MeV pro Nukleon stammen, aber bei einem Laborwinkel von 30o geben die errechneten Werte nur noch ungefaehr ein Drittel der experimentellen Werte an.
