A true doserate μ-R survey meter for low level dose rate measurements
Description
The need for a flat energy response and sensitive low level survey meter led to the development of μR survey meter based on tissue response plastic scintillator. This survey meter comprises of a tissue response plastic scintillator and PMT, a compact HV module, charge integrator, ADC and other digital circuitry for read out and display of dose-rate. This paper describes the design concept and reports the dose-rate response measurements carried out with this meter. (author)
