Description

By simulating radioactive decay process with Monte Carlo method, some common used Radon progeny measuring methods in China are analyzed, that include least square method developed by author of the paper, Thomas Method, Malkov Method and Kusnetz Method. The results show that: 1) The least square method matches the expect value closely, and has the least relative standard deviation; 2) Thomas Method and Kusnetz Method also have a small relative standard deviation but a relative large deviation from expect value; 3) An relative obvious relationship between Malkov Method and the ratio of Radon progeny.
