Maintenance practice for longer plant life
Description
The idea of plant life extension has often been presented as an option that reactor owners bring up toward the end of the design life of the plant, but it is equally important that a power station operate with good availability throughout its life and also throughout a high reliability of components which are important for safety. A rigourous maintenance policy appears to be very benefical for these goals. I would like to present the E.D.F. approach concerning this thema. (author)
