Description
The recent discussion by Kim and Overhauser of nonmagnetic impurities in superconductors is employed to study the case of nonretarded pairing interactions. It is found that Anderson's theorem does not hold in this case and Tc can be reduced by nonmagnetic impurities. Experimental observation of this effect in high-Tc superconductors would be a strong indication of such nonretarded interactions
