Scintigraphy of the lacrymal drainage system
Description
The nuclear dacryocystogram allows to evaluate the lacrymal drainage system in physiological conditions. It is a well defined and all ready reported method, easy to perform, atraumatic but not often used compared to radiological exploration. After a brief report of the methodology the indications and results, the interest of the scintigraphy specially in the investigation of partial stenosis of duct and post-operative control of tear duct permeability, is shown

La scintigraphie des voies lacrymales permet l'etude de la permeabilite dans des conditions physiologiques. Il s'agit d'une methode deja ecrite depuis de nombreuses annees, simple et atraumatique, trop peu souvent utilisee par rapport a l'exploration radiologique. Apres avoir brievement presente la methodologie, les indications et les resultats, on souligne l'interet de la scintigraphie lors des stenoses peu serrees responsables neanmoins de larmoiement et dans les controles post-operatoires de la permeabilite des voies lacrymalesAdditional details
