Wetting transitions in quantum and classical films

Description
Results of recent study of the wetting properties and phase transitions in helium and hydrogen films are reviewed. The authors also extend their theoretical study of quantum films to classical ones, such as noble gases. They report a universal trend in the physical interactions involving noble gas atoms and various substrates studied. With the classical open-quotes law of corresponding statesclose quotes, this points to a possible universal behavior in wetting transitions of classical films
