Crystal structure of the potassium tetrahydrate dioxalatocarbonatodifluorozirconate

Description
The crystal structure of potassium tetrahydrate dioxalatocarbonatodifluorozirconate (automatic diffractometer, lambda MoKsub(α), graphite monochromator, the least square method in anisotropic approximation up to R=0.067) has been studied. The compound crystals are monoclinic: a=17.885 (1), b=9.080 (1), c=12.092 (1)A, γ=deg,90.04 (1) sp. gr. B2/m, Z=4, d=2.060+-0.002 g/cm3. Two fluorine atoms, two chelate oxalatogroups and bidentate carbonatogroup constitute the coordination sphere of the Zr atom (Zr polyhedron is a two vertex trigonal prism). Peculiarities of the zirconium coordination polyhedron structure in the complex investigated and the effect of cyclic and non-cyclic substituents on the structural transformations the coordination polyhedron are discussed
