Description
Studied is the hydrochlorination of molybdenum (6) and tungsten (6) oxides in the flow of hydrogen chloride in dependence on temperature and time. It is found that temperature increase enhances the MoO3 hydrochlorination rate and it reacher maximum at 430 deg C. The rate of hydrochlorination of tungsten (6) oxide increases slowly up to 600 deg C, and begins to increase quicker with further temperature increase. More that 75% tungsten oxide are hydrochlorized at 900 deg C. To study the time dependence of tungsten quantity sublimated, experiments have been carried out at 700 deg C. The reaction of hydrochlorination of tungsten oxide at 700 deg C is of linear character. The complete hydrochlorination of tungsten oxide weighted amount can be achieved at feeding of about 6%-fold quantity of hydrogen chloride against the theoretical one
