Description

Radiation-thermal treatment of the coked hydrodesulfurization catalysts based on Al, Ni, an Mo with an electron beam of up to 2.0 MeV energy is studied. The temperature interval for radiolysis of coke deposits and S-containing compounds is determined. The cause of the radiation-thermal damage of the catalyst matrix and the active metal phases is revealed, and the probability of these processes is estimated. A radiation-thermal effect associated with a decrease in the temperature threshold for a number of solid-state reactions in the Mo-containing catalysts is found and investigated. 14 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab
