Interpretation of one-particle singularity in multiple scattering processes

It is shown that the total probability of multiple scattering process which goes via one-particle intermediate states is proportional not only to the product VT of the interaction volume and time but also to the product of ∫ dρ integrals where ρ=r/k is the ratio of the distance between the centres of two subsequent collisions to the corresponding intermediate particle momentum
