Progress in texture investigations at the pulsed reactor IBR-2
Creators

Description
Because of its rather high resolution the spectrometer NSWR is used for the experimental determination of the texture of materials with low crystal symmetry, especially for rocks and ceramics such as quartz-bearing samples from the super-deep drilling at Windischeschenbach (Germany). The texture of the quartz fraction and also the texture of the feldspars and mica can be estimated. (orig.)
