Method for determination of samarium and europium
Description
A method of samarium and europium determination in high-purity lanthanide and yttrium oxides, which consists in sample interaction with complexing agents in the presence of a buffer and gelatin with subsequent quantitative recording by luminescence method, is described. Fluorinated β-diketones and diantipyrilmethane, taken in 7-12 and 14-24- multiple excess respectively as regards lanthanide content, are used as complexing agents. The method sensitivity constitutes for samarium and europium 2x10-6 and 1x10-8 % respectively. 3 tabs
