Description
Phase composition, structure, texture and residual stresses in thin (1 ...5 μm) titanium nitride and titanium carbide coatings deposited by combined ion bombardment method onto the plates of T15K, T15K10 and VK60M hard alloys and 0.13C-11Cr-2Ni-2W-Mo-V steel were studied using X-ray diffraction methods. Texture changes in external and internal coatings layers were analyzed. Lattice parameters were measured. Lattice distorsions and residual stresses values reaching 1000...1700 MPa depending on the deposition process were estimated
