Correlation of the annealing temperature for radiation damage fields to the melting point of metals in DPAD experiments
Description
The revealed correlation Tsub(anneal) = 0.6 Tsub(melt) indicates that the temperature dependent loss of nuclear alignment after nuclear reactions is related to the migration of monovacancies or divacancies. For experiments where unreduced γ-anisotropy is desirable during the nuclear lifetime, the target temperature should therefore be increased above 0.6Tsub(M)
