Description
In the proposed Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor(PFBR) shield experiment in Apsara, it is proposed to use a Al box filled with air to reduce thermalization of neutrons leaking out of core. Air to water worth of this air column has been estimated by 3-D transport calculations. The worth is nearly zero. (author). 2 refs., 1 fig., 1 tab
