Scale solutions and coupling constant in the electrodynamics of vector particles

Description
A new approach to renormalizable gauge theories is studied using as an example the electrodynamics of vector particles. One- and two-loop approximations to Schwinger-Dyson system of equations are treated taking into account the conditions imposed by the gauge invariance. It is shown that solutions with ''scaling'' asymptotics can be realized but with a definite value of the coupling constant. For the obtained solutions this value turnes out to be close to the fine structure constant α=1/137
