Dust-ion-acoustic solitons in a strong magnetic field

  • 1. Department of Physics, Faculty of Education-Port Said, Suez Canal University (Egypt)

Description

The ionization source model is considered, for the first time, to investigate the propagation of small, but finite amplitude dust-ion-acoustic solitons in a strong magnetized dusty plasma. Soliton properties and formation conditions are clearly explained. The relevancy of this investigation to supernovae shells and Saturn's F-ring is pointed out
