Description
In ageing power plants it is becoming increasingly necessary to replace entire reactor protection sub-systems as they reach the end of their lifetime and as spare parts for obsolete equipment become difficult to obtain. Siemens/KWU have developed the ISKAMATIC, TELEPERM C 8000 and EDM systems for this purpose. So far, the equipment has been installed in seven plants. (author)
