Synthesis methods of crystals of cobalt and nickel water-soluble salts

Description
Single crystals of nickel chloride hexahydrate (NiCl2∙6H2O), cobalt chloride hexahydrate (CoCl2∙6H2O), and [Ni(en)3]Cl2∙2H2O were obtained by isothermal evaporation and by the method of controlled temperature reduction from an aqueous saturated solution by using modified crystallizer. The transmission spectrum parameters and thermal stability of the obtained single crystals are studied. Crystal samples of nickel and cobalt chloride hexahydrates were obtained in a series of NixCo1-xCl2∙6H2O solid solutions in a wide range of x parameter
Abstract (Russian)
Получены монокристаллы гексагидрата хлорида никеля (NiCl2∙6H2O), гексагидрата хлорида кобальта (CoCl2∙6H2O), а также [Ni(en)3]Cl2∙2H2O путем изотермического упаривания и методом управляемого снижения температуры из водного насыщенного раствора с применением модифицированной кристаллизационной установки. Исследованы параметры спектра пропускания, термическая устойчивость полученных монокристаллов. Получены образцы кристаллов гексагидратов хлоридов никеля и кобальта в ряду твердых растворов NixCo1-xCl2∙6H2O в широком интервале значений параметра хAdditional details
